Reeperbahn Festival Socials

Dear media representatives, dear colleagues,
There is no need to worry about liquid food supplies at clubs and concert theatres. But at a four-day event marathon such as the Reeperbahn Festival, in particular, there are times when you must eat "something sensible". And as tempting as Currywurst and the range of fish rolls at St. Pauli may be, the culinary experience is a welcome change if it goes beyond this offer. The Reeperbahn Festival team has naturally taken care of this.

The dinner table is set, the meal is in the oven, the wine is sparkling in the glasses – and the host has selected the right music to match the occasion. This is the typical setting when it comes to music and dining. The new format Cooking con Concert is turning things upside down: The cooking crew of Kitchen Guerilla will listen intensely to the music of one of the festival line-up acts and then compose a meal to reflect the music in terms of flavour. While the band is playing live music, the kitchen crew are very active – and finally the result is tested and tried together with the audience. Delicious – and loud!
The "Aus Finnland" (From Finland) Foodgarden with its traditional Finish food, an event initiated at Spielbudenplatz by our partners of the 2015 national country focus, delighted so many guests that it is back and in enhanced form. In addition to the Finish cuisine there will be further selected food trucks at Spielbudenplatz, providing a welcome change in terms of taste sensations.
However, not only Spielbudenplatz will become a foodie playground: The Reeperbahn Festival offer Eatery will stretch all over St. Pauli and the adjacent districts: In cooperation with Prinz Hamburg, the Reeperbahn Festival team recommends ten selected cafés and restaurants for the four festival days. All participating localities offer exclusive specials for festival goers.

The participating locations are: Alles Elbe I Amphore I Caffé Latte I Grilly Idol I Kleine Haie Grosse Fische I Kopiba I Kraweel I Miller I Mother´s Fine Coffee I Pizza Bande

But that's not all: During the brand new Eatery Sessions three acts from this year's Reeperbahn Festival programme will virtually serve the appetizers for their shows in the evening, staging exclusive acoustic sets at three of the eatery locations. More information on the artists will be available soon!
