Last Call For Papers!

We do not want to miss the chance to draw your attention one very last time to the closing of our Call for Papers by the beginning of next week, 30 April, 2018! 
Anybody who’d like to give a talk or present a project at Reeperbahn Festival Conference is very welcome to submit a proposal.

Your proposal needs to fit into at least one of our thematic strands:

Creative Tech / Live Entertainment / Marketing / Media & Journalism / Modern Classical Music / music.brands.(e)motion (Sync & Brands) / Recorded Music / Rights Management / Sound & Society / Startups@Reeperbahn

Additionally we’d like to ask for contributions to this year’s special thematic strand titled “Why Europe?”. Here, we’d like to hear about your cultural ideas and visions, your political hopes and fears, your economic experiences and analyses for the continent from a music industry perspective.

France As Part Of Int. Music Journalism Award

We are happy to welcome France as partner of the Reeperbahn Festival International Music Journalism Award.
Supported by our partner country for 2018, the International Music Journalism Award will premiere a French-language category for “The Year’s Best Work of Music Journalism: Text (Print & Web)”. A highly qualified jury consisting of French representatives from the music and media sector will get to work evaluating the submissions and suggestions to determine the deserving winner.
