Reeperbahn Festival In L.A. – Programme Completed

As Europe's biggest international music platform, Reeperbahn Festival as mediator between cultural imports and exports will present itself together with re:publica and next media accelerator at the start of the Sequencer Tour USA in Los Angeles from 30 October to 5 November with a miniature edition, covering the areas art, live music and music business.

The Sequencer Tour hits off with Klaus Voormannn’s exhibition It Started In Hamburg. Most notably known for his cover art for the Beatles album Revolver, the exhibition covers illustrations, graphic pictures and sketches from 60 creative years. It Started In Hamburg celebrated its world premiere during the Hamburg Reeperbahn Festival, exactly where it all began – not only for Klaus Voormann himself – and will now take him to his former home Los Angeles. The laudation at the opening reception 30 October, 7:00pm at Navel will be held by none other than the musician and composer legend Van Dyke Parks, Klaus Vormann's friend and companion of many years.

Register for the opening reception here.
