creative tech – Speakers and Topics

Among others, bestselling author Cornelia Funke (DE/US), composer, multimedia artist, and writer Paul D. Miller aka DJ Spooky (US) and scientist, music producer, and engineer Dr. Kelly Snook (GB) definitely enrich this year's Creative Tech strand!

Cornelia Funke and Eduardo García will take us on an inspiring trip into the world of immersive audiobooks. As a European first, DJ Spooky will present "The Invisible Hand", his new blockchain album commissioned by Breaker. Dr. Kelly Snook will speak about the Kepler Concordia Project – a new type of musical instrument, proposed by Johannes Kepler 400 years ago, now being built as an immersive distributed VR protocol to sonify celestial data (or indeed any data structure).

Moreover, Tim Armoo (Founder, Fanbytes, GB), Hidde Kross (President, Veejays(.)com, NL), Andy Polaine (Group Director for Client Evolution, Fjord, GB), Alex Jacobi (Chief Exponential Officer, With love and data, DE), and Deborah Papiernik (SVP New Business, Ubisoft, FR) will hold inspiring presentations.

The Creative Tech strand is created in cooperation with NEXT Conference
