Premiere of Music Makers Playground with renowned instrument manufacturers at Festival Village For two years, the Festival Village has been the contact point for all festival and professional visitors to collect their wristbands and accreditation. Here you will also find the bag storage room and this year also free bicycle parking facilities. Moreover, the Village has established itself as a cozy oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Reeperbahn where, protected by sea containers, you can have a break from the hectic activity, eat, enjoy art, presentations and selected acts or plan the rest of your evening. For the third Festival Village edition, the concrete desert of Heiligengeistfeld will again be redesigned into a feel-good place, and more comfortably than in past years: The rolled turf area will be extended to 1,500 qm, there will be more comfy seating islands, a vast number of food trucks will provide a tasty diversion and several hundred metres of light chains will bring coziness into the centre of the city. But in addition to all the hygge, the Festival Village will offer its own programme: Since the first day of Festival Village, selected newcomer acts can be seen on the Fritz Bühne in the Village every day; this will also be the case this year. The Music Makers Playground is new; well-known music companies and instrument manufacturers such as Yamaha, Allen Heath, Shure, D´Addario, Klotz Cables, K&M, Audio Technica, Instrument of things, Happy Ears Earplugs, CMS Pedalboards, Gold Super & Thomas Blug Amplifiers, will present their products whichcan be tested on the spot. Moreover, Guitar Center, the famous Hamburg guitar dealer No. 1, will exhibit a number of Fender Vintage guitars that will make every music heart beat faster.
Daniel Wieland (Marketing Manager, Shure): "We are very pleased to accompany Reeperbahn Festival this year. An extraordinary event with great artists and a unique mix of entertainment and education. The perfect stage for Shure to present one or two highlights."
On the above-mentioned Future Playground with its Future Dome at the centre, apart from the United Nations, various initiatives will present future visions and sustainability approaches while the Arts Playground will offer all visitors a cinemaas well as exciting exhibitions, installations and interactive modules in a container group. Those who fancy some exercise in the evening can get it to the music of DJ Mad and Gigi Amando from Mojo Club and enter Rollerskate Jam, the coolest roller skating rink of the year. Roller skates can be rented at the rink already at midday.
