Starting on Wednesday, Hamburg will be the centre of the international music world again. We are looking forward to spending four eventful days with you!

The Press Desk will be located in the Festival Village on Heiligengeistfeld near the entrance to underground station St. Pauli. Accreditation is personalised and not transferable. Please have your personal ID card ready.

World premiere: Ólafur Arnalds "Ekki Hugsa 360°": An audio-visual overall experience, arranged around Ólafur Arnalds’ latest publication "re:member", which will be presented in four new versions plus a video installation.
NOTE: The artist and his video director will be present and host the show, but they will not perform live.

Arts Playground and Future Playground - Hotspots for music, arts and social utopias on sustainability, gender equality and more.

Arts Playground: incl. A Symphony of Noise - Inspired by Matthew Herbert: The installation, inspired by the musician and producer Matthew Herbert, turns virtual reality into an interactive sound experience and will be presented for the first time at Reeperbahn Festival 2019.

▪    DOORS OPEN Show: The opening ceremony with its international live performances, the presentation of the 2019 ANCHOR jury and the nominees as well as contributions on Keychange and this year's country partner Australia comprises all major characteristics of Reeperbahn Festival 2019. ▪   Neon Nashville: Country Music Special. Reception & Showcase presented by Country Music Association. Hardly any other genre is currently undergoing such a rejuvenation process as country music: Not enough that hip-hop artists are discovering the genre for themselves, landing world hits – hardly any other music style is so strongly dominated by female artists!

The Reeperbahn Festival Lounge in the entrance foyer of ARCOTEL Onyx Hamburg (Reeperbahn 1), the official partner hotel of Reeperbahn Festival, is always open and will be the central meeting point for all professional visitors. In the lounge, there is a free cloakroom, free WLAN, power supply and free public PCs.
