Keychange kick-off in stockholm - the recap

Last week on 14 and 15 February this year's Keychange 2.0 programme kicked off in Stockholm with the first of two network meetings. Launched at Reeperbahn Festival 2017, Keychange is a trend-setting international initiative for gender equality in music, financially supported by the EU Commission.
More than 70 women and gender minority emerging artists and innovators from Europe and Canada have been selected for Keychange in receiving support and encouragement in fulfilling their artistic and industrial ambition. Scattered throughout the year will be Creative Labs and workshops amongst other exciting opportunities as well as a mentorship programme. Find out more here.

Interview with Jaroslav Beck

Jaroslav Beck is the co-founder of video game developer Beat Games, which created the hit VR rhythm game Beat Saber. At Reeperbahn Festival 2019 he talked to us about how the game became a viral phenomenon, the opportunities that virtual reality and gaming bring to the music industry, and how licensing is standing in the way of innovation.
