A few days ago, the Music Biz in Nashville announced that the event will be rescheduled from May to August due to the current global health situation. This will also apply to the Reeperbahn Festival activities in Nashville, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and originally planned for 11 - 14 May.
Since 2003, the trade conference Music Biz in the heart of the music city Nashville has been considered an international marketplace for commerce as well as content and creative business. Leading decision makers of international physical and digital businesses, sales and marketing platforms take advantage of this event to discuss music distribution models.
The 25 accompanying business representatives of the Reeperbahn Festival International Programme will participate in networking receptions and curated one-on-one matchmaking sessions and receptions as well as visits to local music businesses. Moreover, a showcase is planned during which artists and authors will present songs, jointly created in a previous singer-songwriter camp, to an international audience composed of international delegates and Nashvillians.
