![]() Information for accredited journalistsThe day after tomorrow is the big day: The Reeperbahn Festival will start its tenth edition. We are pleased about the great media interest and the high journalistic quality of numerous accreditations. As in ten festival years there are many classical questions must be answered, such as "Where exactly is the press desk and what are its opening times?" We have compiled the most important details about the Reeperbahn Festival for all accredited journalists. ![]() World premiere of the Reeperbahn Festival logbook The tenth anniversary is an occasion for a world premiere. The Reeperbahn Festival Logbuch (logbook) provides our visitors with a completely new user service. Via smartphone you can track the events visited the night before, offering exclusive additional contents: Recordings of visited shows, acoustic versions, keynote interviews, sessions and much more. The 'Logbuch' works on a network of iBeacons, reaching across all Reeperbahn Festival locations. Its application is very straightforward: On activating the Bluetooth function the Reeperbahn Festival locations visited will be stored on your smartphone (and only there!). It enables you to look up the name of the stunning band, for example. A model acting as a precedent all over the world? - As it is an absolute pilot project first results will be presented at the conference programme. ![]() Independent Label Market in Hamburg for the first time The unexpected renaissance of the good old vinyl has been going on for a while now – with a rising trend. This is all the more pleasing as more and more labels offer recordings on vinyl. So this may be the time not only to expand your vinyl record collection but also to have a talk with label owners. Following Berlin, Glasgow and Los Angeles the Independent Label Market, originating from London, stops over in Hamburg not far from the Reeperbahn for the first time this year. Renowned and lesser known record labels, such as CitySlang, RoughTrade, BB*Island/Bone Voyage Recordings, Clouds Hill, Word and Sound, Panda Records, Sinnbus and many more will offer novel, exclusive and rare items from their shelves at Affenfaust Gallery, Paul-Roosen-Strasse 43 on Saturday, 26 Sept. All this is accompanied by Hamburg streetfood stalls offering delicacies.
![]() Live-stream concerts Have you been to a great concert? Or have you missed one? Or you weren't there at all? With daily live streams provided by our partners NDR and Spiegel online all music fans will have the opportunity to view streams of selected full-length shows on Friday and Saturday on www.reeperbahnfestival.com. Further dates for journalists26.09. / 3 pm last press conference |
